Arakawa Europe GmbH is looking for a Employee (m/f/d) process/production engineer (full time) to strengthen the team at the production site in 04564 Böhlen near Leipzig.

Arakawa Europe GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Arakawa Chemical Industries, Ltd. and has been producing hydrogenated hydrocarbon resins for the adhesives and plastics industry at the Böhlen site since 2000.
Your fields of activity:
As a process engineer to support:
- Process monitoring
- Plant optimization
- Plant design
- Introduction of new technologies
- Definition of tasks for outsourced services
- Plant improvement in terms of throughput, yields, quality, energy and environmental performance
- Leading the the existing improvement team
- Technical Support
- Participation in Root-Cause-Analysis
As a production engineer to support:
- Production monitoring
- Production planning
- Planning of Raw and auxiliary material
- Introduction of new products
For projects:
- Execution and implementation in the area of process development and improvement, or other activities related to production
- Realization of investments (EH&S, compliance etc.)
- Implementation of facility improvements
Environmental Coordinator:
- Continuation and improvement of the existing environmental management system
- Collaboration on the integrated management system
Our expectations:
- An university degree in the field of process engineering or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in operation and/or the process engineering design of plants in manufacturing industrial companies
- Confident use of MS Office
- Very good knowledge of English
- Structured, analytical, conceptual and goal-oriented way of working
- Ability to carry out cost and benefit analyses
- Communication skills, conscientiousness, the ability to work in a team, as well as resilience and organizational skills
