FRAMEWORK

Brainstorm
More than just coming up with ideas, this phase involves laying the ground in which ideas can germinate. As part of the brainstorming process, we work with the client to assess needs and requirements, which could include market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews. Then we work in teams, both internally and with the client, to explore solutions to the problems.

"One phrase you’ll never hear in our brainstorming sessions is ‘there are no bad ideas.’ Of course there are bad ideas, and they usually arise from an unclear understanding of the situation. We prepare well, so, while some of our ideas will be better than others, they will all be good."

Concept
The enthusiasm and energy of brainstorming is why we went into this business in the first place. But ideas need structure before they can be presented to the client. In this phase, we create the strategic framework for the rough idea.

"To think outside the box, first you have to know where the box is."

Design
In our world, design means more than pretty graphics. It refers to information design. Interface design. Instructional design. Software design. And traditional graphic design. In the shorthand of Structure Interactive, the Design phase is the phase where the actual work gets done.

"Everyone on a project team is a designer. Each person has a hand in crafting the finished product."

Evolve
We do good work, but we know it’s not perfect. After we deliver a project, we work with the client to measure its success. Based on those results, we return to the Brainstorm phase to explore revisions and additions. Markets are dynamic. Your business environment is dynamic. Your communications should be flexible enough to keep pace.

"It takes a real commitment to have a web site that evolves. It means accepting that there is no end, that the process will continue indefinitely, and that can be scary."
