Challenge
When the Discovery Channel approached NUTRILITE with a proposal to broadcast programming written and sponsored by the vitamin and mineral company, branding executives recognized the fantastic opportunity to build on their brand. But they also acknowledged the difficult task that lay ahead: convincing the Alticor board to fund this multi-year, multi-million-dollar commitment.

The Alticor boardroom had recently been upgraded with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, including video projection system with two six-foot screens. We needed to capitalize on the room’s technology to produce a visually stunning presentation that generated enthusiasm without overwhelming the presenters or drowning out the message.

Solution
We had already created multi-screen trade show kiosks for other clients, so we knew how to stretch Alticor’s dual-screen technology to its limits. By combining video and animation with text and audio in dynamic ways, we designed the presentation to reinforce the message that NUTRILITE and Discovery were natural partners. And because we took the time to show them how to use their presentation most effectively, the presenters were able to drive that message home.
Results
For NUTRILITE, the results were overwhelmingly positive. Citing its rapid development cycle, its technological prowess, and its attention to detail, NUTRILITE executives claimed that the presentation was so well done that it challenged them to become better presenters. What’s more, they requested three additional versions of the presentation to promote the opportunity among other audiences at Alticor.
And how did the board respond? They approved the funding — on the spot.
